Rain or Shine

Anyone from Calgary knows this has been one of the shortest, coldest and wettest summers ever, and the long weekend has been no exception to this trend.  But that didn't stop Leah and Curt Lizzi from having the most wonderful wedding day!  The ceremony was at the Calgary Zoo so it would have been beautiful being outside, but being inside the newly renovated atrium did not dampen our spirits.

One of the highlights for me, and I think many of the guests, was how many children were there, including Leah & Curt's 2 year old twin boys who were so cute and well-behaved.  Leah and Curt have terrific family and friends - I enjoyed several good converesations over cocktails and dinner.

Congratulations, Leah & Curt - what a terrific day and what a wonderful family you have formed together!

Thank you Rob for your kind words! Yes, unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, but our twin toddlers did - and that was a much bigger bonus for us in the end! Curt and I would like to thank you again for making our wedding "ours". Every detail of the ceremony was just as we wanted it, and it made for a very personal and meaningful occasion. We both commented on how comfortable you made us feel and how much we enjoyed having you celbrate with us. As a testament to what a wonderful job you did, many of our guests mentioned how much they enjoyed the ceremony and that it was very "us". We enjoyed having you spend time with our family and friends over the course of the weekend - and even with the rain, it was an absolutely perfect day!
